What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Counselor (LMSW, LMHC) position at Kee To Independent Growth, Inc.?
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated clinician to provide Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment (CPST) and Community Integration Counseling (CIC) services. This is a mobile, community-based position offering supportive counseling and therapeutic interventions to individuals living with mental health and/or substance use disorders, as well as those adjusting to life with physical or cognitive disabilities.
This role is ideal for clinicians who value flexibility, independence, and making a meaningful impact in the community. Services are provided directly in clients’ homes and other natural settings, with opportunities to work in areas that align with client preferences.
Applicant must have an LMHC, LMSW or LCSW to perform these duties.
- Experience providing counseling, community-based services, or mobile mental health support preferred (training is provided).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and engage individuals in the community.
- Dependable, adaptable, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
