Retirement Planner, No Prospecting, 4-Day Workweek

A planning job that's actually a planning job... four days of work, three days of real life. Most CFP® jobs come with a catch: you're really a salesperson with a designation. Cold calls, networking events, production quotas on products.

This is the opposite. At Kedrec Wealth, we hand you the clients. Your job is to do the work you actually trained for: build exceptional retirement plans.

You'll take warm intro calls with people who came to us through our books, radio show, and Retire on Time brand. You'll guide them through our proprietary planning process, deliver a comprehensive one-time retirement plan, and help them choose their next step, whether that's implementing the plan themselves, subscribing to our Cash Flow & Capital planning app, or becoming a Private Client while another advisor maintains the relationship. No cold prospecting... Ever. Your only "business development" is doing work so good that clients refer their friends. Don't worry, there are no referral quotas.

What You'll Do

• Conduct intro calls with pre-qualified prospects generated by our marketing engine
• Lead clients through the Kedrec planning process (data gathering, analysis, plan construction)
• Build retirement plans using our documented planning frameworks, templates, and AI-assisted tools
• Deliver plans in person or virtually, answer implementation questions, and present next-step options
• Generate referrals at plan delivery using our built-in referral program
• Coordinate with your support associate, who handles paperwork and administrative follow-through
• Maintain plan quality standards reviewed by lead advisors

How You're Paid

• $80,000 base salary. Per-plan bonus on a sliding scale ($500–$1,000 per completed plan) based on your trailing 12-month plan volume.
• The more plans you complete, the more each one pays
• Total compensation examples:
• 48 plans/year ≈ $108,800
• 72 plans/year ≈ $137,600
• 96 plans/year ≈ $176,000

Your compensation is never tied to product recommendations.

You're paid for planning, the same amount whether a plan recommends an annuity, an index fund, or nothing at all. We built the comp structure this way on purpose. You will never be pressured to place product.

The Lifestyle

• Four-day workweek, every week (Tuesday–Friday).

What we're looking for:

• CFP® designation required
• Life/health insurance license (or willingness to obtain it)
• Strong tax planning understanding (Enrolled Agent is not required, but encouraged) 
• Strong retirement planning fundamentals: income planning, Social Security, tax-aware distribution strategies, Roth conversions, alternative investments, etc.
• Excellent client communication. You can explain complex planning in plain English and guide people to confident decisions.
• Organized and efficient... You'll manage multiple plans in progress with associate support.
• Alignment with a flat-fee fiduciary philosophy: plan first, strategies second, investments and products third
• Separate personal bias in pursuit of discovering what is right for the client both financially and emotionally
• Lifelong learner who seeks to continually improve their professional and personal skill sets

By the time someone schedules an intro call, they've typically read our material, watched us teach, and absorbed our planning philosophy. They should be able to tell you why they want to work with us.

That means your intro calls aren't cold conversations with skeptics. They're warm conversations with educated prospects who already trust our approach and are ready to plan. Your job isn't to convince anyone. It's to deliver on the promise our content already made.
