Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Duties:
- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities in their home.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Support individuals in developing social skills and participating in community activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individual progress
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Experience:
- Working with adults with intellectual disabilities is a plus.
- Certification in 32-hour medication management and CPR/first aid is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
