Superintendent needed for an apartment complex in Oneonta , New York. Applicant must have experience with apartment preparation and must possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Must have knowledge of but is not limited to: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping, custodial duties, etc. Must live on property. In addition to the compensation noted, the superintendent has the use of an apartment and its utilities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Facilities experience with strong working knowledge of building systems.
· Proficiently skilled in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and basic construction.
· Customer service skills.
· Self-starter.
· Ability to communicate clearly with on-site manager and residents.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters on a daily basis.
Position is live-in, and candidate must be able to respond to emergencies 24/7.
Compensation will include a (2) bedroom loft apartment and paid utilities.
