Aerospace Guidance Systems Assembly and Test Technician

Imagine starting your day at a clean, well-organized workstation where precision matters. You’ll move from meticulous cleaning and fit-up of metal parts to cutting and polishing step seal surfaces on a manual lathe. Between operations, you’ll peer through a microscope to verify every component is free of FOD and defects, documenting your findings and updating inventory data so the entire team stays in sync.

As the go-to builder for intricate assemblies that power guidance systems, you’ll also craft prototype parts for engineering trials and occasional customer delivery. You’ll keep your area orderly to maintain flow, and you’ll jump in on continuous improvement—recommending smarter methods and fine-tuning processes grounded in your knowledge of metals and metalworking.

  • Maintain records, work status, and supply inventory; enter data into the inventory control system.
  • Cross-train across department operations; document procedures and train teammates to expand production capacity.
  • Keep a clean, organized workspace to support throughput and quality.
What you bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hands-on assembly experience and mechanical testing background.
  • Ability to follow operation sheets and detailed work instructions.
