We are currently searching for an energetic and innovative Bilingual Human Resources Assistant. You will provide onsite support in a dynamic atmosphere, with a responsive, team-oriented department that serves all levels of personnel.
Job Summary:
The Bilingual Human Resource Assistant will undertake administrative duties and services to facilitate the effective and efficient functioning of the organization's human resource department, specifically in areas such as onboarding, recruitment, hiring, benefits management, employee relations, and employee engagement.
Essential Job Functions:
· Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
· Assemble new hire packets.
· Conducts or assists with New Hire Orientation.
· Assists with background checks
· Assists with Morpho fingerprint scans
· Assists with employee terminations
· Assist with VOE’s
· Assist with recruiting efforts
· Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records.
· Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
· Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefit open enrollment, facility meetings, employee relations events, holiday parties etc.
· Provides translation services fluently - Bilingual English/Spanish
· Provides clerical support to the HR department.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED
**Minimum of 6 months to 1-year Human Resources experience! **
**Bilingual in English and Spanish required**
Required Skills and Abilities:
· Strong interpersonal skills, enabling the management of sensitive and confidential matters with tact, professionalism.
· Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities.
· Exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
· Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
· Competent in human resource information systems (HRIS) like Paycom or similar applications, or possesses the capacity to learn these systems rapidly
Physical Demands:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Must be able to lift to 10 lbs occasionally
Working Conditions:
· This position requires Monday-Friday hours of 9AM – 5:30PM.
· Position operates in an office environment utilizing standard office equipment.
· Noise level is moderate.
