What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Operations Supervisor position at Keany Produce Careers?
Job Purpose/Objective:
The Night Operations Supervisor runs the day-to-day operations of the warehouse primarily for Shipping/Receiving/Short Order. The Supervisor will manage the employees on the shift in a safe, efficient, and effective manner and handle any immediate problems that may arise.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervise /motivate employees
- Organize the workflow.
- Train employees on PIT safety/operations
- Assure safe work practices
- Handle immediate disciplinary incidents
- Enforce Company policies and procedures
- Document Worker’s Compensation incidents
- Train new hires
- Manage E-Time
- Provide proper warehouse documentation as needed
- Assists Warehouse Manager with conducting performance reviews in a timely manner.
- Handle product discrepancies/shortages/other problems
- Maintain a clean and properly stocked warehouse
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 years in shipping and receiving preferably in produce industry.
- 4 years of supervisory experience in warehouse environment
- Proficient operating stand-up, reach forklift and ride on electric pallet jack.
- PC skills to include Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Flexible with change in the work assignments and priorities
- Advance organization skills, strong initiative, creative advance problem-solving skills.
Compensation: The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 to $73,000.00 per year. In addition, Keany Produce & Gourmet offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes the perks outlined below.
