We have an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant to own our billing operations, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and the ability to manage recurring financial workflows.
What You'll Do
What You'll Do
- Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, credit memos, and close entries (interest, bad debt, amortization, prepaids, bonus accrual)
- Reconcile bank statements and perform flux analysis, investigating significant variances
- Record cash receipts and invoices into NetSuite
- Monitor signed contracts; create billing accounts and invoices
- Support audit confirmations, ad hoc reporting, and data compilation projects
- Send client account statements and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 1-3 Years of accounting experience
- Experience with billing systems and ERP platforms; NetSuite experience is ideal
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, close processes, and AR workflows
- Highly organized with the ability to manage recurring deadlines across multiple accounts
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and dependable — teammates and clients can count on you to follow through
