We seek a full-time non-exempt IP PARALEGAL ASSISTANT to join our team. This is a hybrid role and the in-office location is Cary, NC. In this role, you'll support our intellectual property team with day-to-day patent and trademark prosecution tasks. You'll work closely with experienced paralegals and attorneys, gaining valuable exposure to the workings of a busy IP practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process incoming correspondence, including mail and office deliveries
- Assist paralegals with preparing and submitting documents to the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO)
- Support various firm-wide projects as needed
Qualifications:
- At least two years of post-high school education
- Prior experience at a patent prosecution or intellectual property law firm is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfortable working independently in both onsite and remote settings
KDW Firm PLLC offers medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance, 401k savings, as well as a generous amount of paid time off. Compensation will be consistent with candidate's experience, up to a maximum of $40,000 per year.
