Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Hybrid — Stamford, CT (onsite ~3 days/week)
Reports to: HR Director

The Role
This position goes beyond traditional HR support. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will act as both advisor and executor: guiding leadership, shaping HR programs, and managing day-to-day responsibilities. The role has direct impact in a growing, entrepreneurial setting where HR is central to building culture and driving performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise leaders with a mix of strategic guidance and practical HR solutions.
- Support managers on employee relations, performance management, and team effectiveness.
- Manage core people programs including performance reviews, compensation, promotions, engagement, and recognition.
- Collaborate with recruiting to ensure hiring aligns with role needs and cultural fit.
- Develop and deliver training to strengthen leadership and employee growth.
- Monitor employment law and HR best practices, assessing risk and recommending action.
- Lead projects that improve organizational capability across functions.
Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive HR generalist or HRBP experience.
- Proven success in employee relations and influencing senior leaders.
- Experience managing annual HR processes (compensation, performance, talent reviews).
- Comfortable in fast-paced, small or growing organizations; financial services experience a plus.
- Strong judgment, communication, and project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Salary : $150,000 - $160,000
