Cutter Operator
Reports to: Cutting Department Manager
FLSA: Hourly
Position Summary
We are seeking a Cutter operator to work in our Cutting Department.
We are hiring 1st Cutter Operator operate guillotine & die cutting equipment to cut printed paper & plastic accurately, productively, and under tight tolerances.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position’s primary duties may include:
- Operate guillotine & die cutting
- Perform routine operator equipment maintenance (as needed)
- Loading or unloading various media (Up to 50lbs)
- Complete documentation of time, material and quality control
- Seeing complete jobs to the next level of production
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Basic Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
- 5 Years of experience operating guillotine and die cutting equipment
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Availability and willingness to work overtime as needed
