Job Overview
Job Summary
KDM is hiring a detail-focused flexographic press operator to set-up, run, and maintain our printing presses. You will create high-quality labels and label forms while following safety standards and daily production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup and Operation:
Read work orders, load rolls, mount plates and dies, mix inks, and perform necessary make-ready adjustments.
- Quality Control:
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate registration, die cutting depth, and ink color throughout each run.
- Teamwork:
You will work with a group of other press operators and support staff to maintain accurate and consistent workflow.
- Documenting:
Accurately complete daily production reports to account for production time, materials used, and press condition.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Hands on experience operating a flexo press is preferred.
- Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment such as rulers and calipers.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
