Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver appliances to residential and commercial locations, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws.
- Unload appliances from delivery trucks using appropriate equipment such as hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifting devices.
- Install appliances accurately by following schematics, technical manuals, and installation instructions.
- Conduct electrical work, plumbing connections, refrigeration setups, and mechanical assembly as required for each appliance type.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues during installation or delivery; perform minor repairs or escalate complex problems to specialized technicians.
- Test appliances post-installation to ensure proper operation; adjust settings or components as needed for optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon completion of each job.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with appliance installation, repair, or maintenance operations (MRO).
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and equipment troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring, plumbing connections, refrigeration systems, and electrical work is essential.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and efficiently; valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
- Familiarity with appliance repair procedures and equipment troubleshooting methods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude; capable of clearly explaining technical details to customers.
- Experience working with electrical systems, plumbing installations, refrigeration units, and general mechanical components preferred.
