We are looking for team members who can balance design aesthetic and client needs. Our colleagues are interested in being mentored and mentoring. This role within our organization plays a crucial part – you’ll work closely with your coworkers, our clients, and other stakeholders impacted by the design.


The Interior Designer will create spaces for our healthcare clients by assessing space requirements, determining optimal furniture placement, and selecting decorative and functional items, all while adhering to relevant blueprint, building code, and inspection requirements. 


We have just begun to offer interior services, so you will have the ability to create opportunities to develop our relationships and create new ones! This is a ground-floor opportunity within our organization.

What We Expect from You:


  • Healthcare interior design experience, 5 years preferred
  • Work with clients to determine initial goals and requirements for the space to be designed
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, painters, and builders to further understand how interior space should function, appear, and be furnished
  • Analyze movement and use patterns of the space
  • Prepare sketches or other visual aids to demonstrate preliminary designs to client
  • Consult with client to select materials, furnishings, and décor
  • Use design applications to prepare and illustrate final plans
  • Determine timelines and project costs and presents accurate estimates to clients
  • Obtain necessary materials, adhering to project and budget specifications
  • Guide and oversee the installation of materials, furniture, and other design elements
  • Ensure client satisfaction by visiting the project on completion with the client; resolves any complaints or concerns
  • Maintain current knowledge of trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in interior design
  • 3 -5 years of professional experience in the design field
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field required; coursework in computer-aided design (CAD) highly preferred
  • Interior design certification highly preferred
  • Technical skills and a demonstrated ability to apply a sense of style to create aesthetically pleasing interiors
  • Strong visual design skills including proportion and aesthetics
  • Basic understanding of building codes and inspection regulations related to interiors. 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Curiosity – a genuine desire to continue learning
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and Sketch-up
  • Skills to self-manage tasks and assignments, with mentorship and oversight, from beginning to end
