Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing (Night Shift)
Zobele by kdc/one is a global leader in product development and manufacturing for top Home & Personal Care FMCG companies. Due to continued growth, our Garland, TX manufacturing site is seeking a Maintenance Utilities Technician to support critical plant systems on night shift.
Shift Schedule (Night Shift – Crew 4)
- Wednesday: 1:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- Thursday–Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Consistent nights | 12‑hour shifts | manufacturing environment
What You’ll Do
- Operate, inspect, and maintain plant utility systems to ensure safe and uninterrupted production
- Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on:
- Boilers & steam systems
- HVAC
- Compressed air (oil‑free preferred)
- Chillers, cooling towers & glycol systems
- Support facility systems including electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing, and general building maintenance
- Respond to emergency repairs and document all maintenance activities
- Partner with operations and engineering to improve reliability, uptime, and energy efficiency
- Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 2–4 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical knowledge
- Ability to work independently on night shift
Preferred:
- Experience with boiler operation, HVAC, chillers, glycol systems
- Technical certification or trade training (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Boiler or utilities‑specific training a plus
