Lead Pre-Weigh Technician
At Kdc/One, we’re looking for a Lead Pre-Weigh Technician to guide our Pre-Weigh team and ensure every batch is handled with perfection. This role is critical to our production process. Your leadership and attention to detail will help us deliver high-quality products that customers love.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assign and oversee Pre-Weigh activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Review SAP and Manufacturing Instruction Packets for errors and resolve discrepancies.
- Recommend new equipment and methods to boost productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis on weighing/batching issues and implement corrective actions.
- Pull raw materials, weigh accurately, and manage SAP transactions for inventory control.
- Perform equipment calibration, visual quality checks, and maintain GMP standards.
- Sanitize tools and equipment, record actions, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
- Work closely with supervisors and compounders to keep operations running smoothly.
What We Need from You:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in compounding, pre-weigh, or sanitization preferred.
- SAP experience and previous leadership in manufacturing strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a wet environment and wear required PPE (hairnet, safety glasses, steel-toe boots).
- Occasionally lift up to 80 lbs.
- Climate-controlled manufacturing environment with moderate noise.
- Exposure to sanitizers, hot water, and chemicals.
- Frequent movement around powered equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
