Technician - Stability Lab - Port Jervis Hourly SGA

Summary:

Perform diversified stability testing involving physical testing of R&D and Process Engineering pilot batches.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs all testing associated with R&D and Process Engineering batches.
• Reports testing results, and any issues observed to the proper party in a timely manner.
• Performs daily checks of temperatures of incubator and ovens.
• Performs daily calibrations of scales and pH meters.
• Responsible for housekeeping of the stability laboratory.
• Maintain all folders for stability data.
• Responsible for maintaining all lab notebooks and chart recorders.
• All other duties as assigned
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum two years of industry or related experience is preferred.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Data analysis.
• Color acuteness.
• A keen sense of smell to identify different odors.
• Computer literate.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Must have exemplary organizational skill.
• Must be able to provide attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to resolve issues both internally and with customers.
• Must be familiar with functions and operations of lab equipment.(Viscometers, Scales, pH Meters, Melting Point Apparatus, Penetrometers)
