Summary:

Work with senior level technicians in manufacturing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with senior level technicians in manufacturing.
• Check/weigh each ingredient of the raw materials of a batch.
• Understand and follow manufacturing procedures in assigned area.
• Load/fill a manufacturing tank according to the batch record.
• Fill out batch cards correctly checking raw material control, lot and batch numbers of each ingredient.
• Pass the forklift training course, if required, in assigned department.
• Assist other compounders of similar or lower classification in all inventories.
• Operate a majority of the equipment in the assigned area (grinders, mixers, blenders, pumps).
• Be able to sanitize equipment in the area, if necessary.
• Have working knowledge of compliance with G.M.P.’s, environmental, safety, and quality control procedures in the performance of job duties.
• All other duties as assigned.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School or equivalency diploma preferred.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Entry Level position for compounder in a manufacturing environment.
• Good mathematical and English skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
