Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
- Conduct Quality Control inspections on finished goods, to include:
- Start of shift checks (bottle/case codes, bottle/case labels, print & apply labels)
- 1st Case checks
- 1st Pallet checks
- Routine Line checks
- Conduct Quality Control inspections on filled totes.
- Identify and isolate components on the filling lines that are “suspect” and/or do not meet specification. Put “suspect” and/or non-confirming components on Reject and issue a Non-Conformance in Unipoint.
- Make pass/fail decisions on finished goods according to established specifications:
- Identify and isolate finished goods that do not meet specification.
- Put non-conforming finished goods on Reject and issue a Non-Conformance in Unipoint.
- Instruct the Line Operator and/or Production Coordinator to adjust the process if out-of-specification data (OOS) data is found during QC checks (i.e. fill weight, torque, label placement, etc).
- Collect finished good retains and provide to the QC Lab.
- Ensure Quality Control inspections are documented according to cGMPs and GDPs.
- Conduct finished good inspections, to AQL criteria, assigned by the QA & Compliance Manager.
- Perform other duties as required and requested by supervisory personnel.

Education / Certification / Qualifications / Experience
- High school diploma.HSED or equivalent experience.
- Able to read, write and speak English language at the high school (12th Grade) level.
- Previous manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Previous Quality Control experience preferred.
- Trained on the job.
- None.
- Sit; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; taste or smell up to 1/3 of the time.
- Reach above shoulders; talk or hear 1/3 to 2/3 of the time.
- Stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or touch 2/3 and more of the time.
- Up to 50 pounds to be lifted or force exerted up to 1/3 of the time.
- Up to 10 pounds to be lifted or force exerted up to 2/3 and more of the time.
- Up to 25 pounds to be lifted or force exerted up to 2/3 and more of the time.
- Performing case checks on finished goods.
- Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
- Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
- Utility knife up to 1/3 of the time.
- Torque tester 1/3 to 2/3 of the time.
- Exposure to wet, humid conditions (non-weather); vibration up to 1/3 of the time.
- Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals 1/3 to 2/3 of the time.
- Work near moving mechanical parts; exposure to fumes or airborne particles 2/3 and more of the time.
- Loud noise.
- Required PPE must be worn when instructed in the LOI/MPCR
- Safety glasses and steel toe shoes required.
- Gloves required.
