Position: Quality Control Line Inspector
Department: Quality Control
Reporting Structure: Quality Assurance Manager/ Director, Quality Control/Quality Assurance
Reporting to this Position: No Direct Reports
BASIC FUNCTION
Performs final quality inspection of in process and finished products in accordance with established procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Records variables and attributes data assuring data is in range specification.
- Performs Quality Line checks at pre-determined time intervals, and records all pertinent data in company established formats by using the quality control mobile stations provided.
- Visually compares product/packaging to standard provided by customer.
- Immediately notifies supervision of any discrepancies found during line inspection checks.
- Pulls and logs line samples for retain, lab and customer.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Science Math Aptitude/ Strong Analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative.
- Basic Computer proficiency
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Must communicate effectively using Basic English communication and written skills.
- Time Management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

- Has basic working knowledge and understanding of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field.
