Company Description: KD Sports Group is a growing sports agency focused on developing athletes and representing NCAA Athletes in NIL deals and negotiations. The company works across multiple collegiate sports. Interns can expect exposure to both the industry and business sides of sports.
Role Description This is a flexible, remote Sports Intern role. The Sports Intern will support coaching staff in planning and organizing outreach, athletic research, brand partnership proposals, and more. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with founders, preparing outreach resources, thorough sports and business research, updating basic performance records, and supporting remote meetings. The intern may also assist with entry-level outreach such as responding to inquiries, marketing, and helping maintain company presence. This is an unpaid, internship, but offers class credit.
Qualifications
- Sports knowledge and experience to assist
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with brands, athletes, and clients in a remote environment
- Interest in a career in sports management or business
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with remote teams
- Comfort with online tools and platforms used for remote communication and training such as Microsoft Word, Excel Spreadsheets, Powerpoint Presentations, and beyond
- Relevant coursework or prior experience in sports, business, marketing or a related field is beneficial, but not required
