KCW Engineering Technologies, Inc. is recruiting for a Civil Designer with experience in AutoCAD who is able to utilize their strong design skills to create plans and exhibits in support of residential, commercial, industrial, or institutional site/land development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Site layout and design.
- Utility design, including storm drain, water and sewer. Knowledge of conduit and dry utility systems.
- Site grading to include ADA compliance.
- Develop diagrams and visual aids and prepare design specifications.
- Execute project based on outlined criteria.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-3 years' civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of accepted industry software
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills.
Preferred Experience and Certifications:
- MicroStation
- Civil 3D
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
Compensation:
- $30.00-$45.00/hour (equal to $62,400-$93,600 annually)
- Position eligible for overtime
- Position eligible for discretionary bonuses at the sole discretion of the company
