Big Sandy Community & Technical College is seeking a Facilities Worker II to work primarily second shift at our the Prestonsburg campus.
Job Duties
- Performs daily cleaning of classrooms, hallways and offices including dusting, removing trash, cleaning windows, vacuuming and stocking soap and paper towel dispensers.
- Performs daily cleaning and maintenance of restrooms.
- Performs minor repairs and assists with major repairs
- Performs dry walling, painting, installing ceiling tiles, minor plumbing
- Assemble and deliver furniture and set up for events.
- Ground maintenance including mowing, weed-eating, picking up trash and snow removal.
- Performs floor maintenance including carpet cleaning, seeping, mopping, stripping, waxing and buffing.
- May have to travel to assist at other campuses or work other shifts as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
