What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman Electrician position at KCR Electric, LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to determine the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Perform electrical inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and carpenters, to complete projects on time and within budget
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices
Requirements:
- Valid journeyperson electrician license
-10 years of electrical experience
- Proven experience in electrical work, including building, renovating, and maintenance projects
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical documents
- Strong knowledge of high voltage systems and safety protocols
- Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks related to electrical installations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
