We are seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to join a growing food manufacturing company and lead night shift production operations. Location: Watertown, NY
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and performance goals are achieved.
- Coach, train, and develop production employees to build a high-performing team.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure production schedules are met through effective use of labor, equipment, and resources.
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to resolve issues and improve plant performance.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and regulatory standards including FDA, SQF, GMP, and HACCP.
- Ensure employees follow SOPs, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Support employee relations, performance management, and team engagement initiatives.
- Manage shift staffing and communication between departments.
- Promote a positive culture focused on safety, teamwork, accountability, and employee development.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- 3 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Manufacturing experience required
- Experience leading and developing production teams.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, FDA, and safety requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems preferred.
- Must be able to work night shift 9PM-5AM
Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
