Duties, Responsibilities & Other
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experience supervising a survey field crew performing control surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, construction stakeout, monitoring and as-built surveys.
- Must have the ability to mentor, train, and manage assigned staff in the field.
- Must have the ability to operate robotic total stations, electronic data collectors, digital and optical levels, and GPS equipment.
- Must have excellent math skills and be able to perform survey calculations in the field.
- Must have ability to interpret design plans and understand as-built drawings and roadway plans.
- Must have ability to create legible field sketches and detailed field notes.
- A valid current driver’s license is required.
- Ability to follow instructions and have a positive can-do attitude are necessities.
- Must possess leadership and mentoring skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, work in all weather conditions, willing to work evenings/weekends when required, willing to travel for overnight and extended stay projects as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and/or Skills Required:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
- Highschool Diploma/GED
Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to maintain required certifications.

Salary : $32 - $40
