Duties, Responsibilities & Other
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Target candidate may be required to operate and maintain a vacuum excavation truck and related equipment safely and efficiently
- Possess the ability to designate/locate a variety of underground utilities, create legible field sketches, simple mathematics, field measurements, document daily activities, and perform records research.
- This position is similar to a utility locator or utility designator and requires minimum of 2 years of utility locating or designating using many types of pipe and cable locating devices
- Experience with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) is preferred
- Understanding basic traffic control and the hazards associated with working in and around traffic and follow safety precautions
- Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Surveying, CADD, and vacuum excavation truck experience a plus.

Qualifications
Education and/or Skills Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Highschool Diploma/GED
Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to maintain required certifications.
- Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
