- No experience required.
- Low voltage cable pulling and labeling experience helpful.
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds continuously.
- Must be able to work on a ladder all day.
- Must be able to take direction and have the desire to learn the communications trade.
- Knowledge of tool use and experience using hand tools.
- Mechanical aptitude is desired.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle operation is required.
- Current Commercial Driver’s License is a plus.
- Installing cabling Inside Plant and Outside Plant; pulling wire in conduit, placing cable in ceiling and floor system zones, terminating cable both copper and fiber optic. Installing cable tray, communications racks and grounding systems. Lacing cables and knowledge of industry standards.
- Shifts and/or overtime may be required.
- Some travel maybe required
- A current Driver’s License and able to be approved to drive a company vehicle is required
