Duties, Responsibilities & Other
This position is for a directional drill foreman with a minimum of 6 years of underground experience operating a directional drill with at least 2 years of experience managing a 4-person crew.
- Work with construction manager for in-field project set up.
- Lead and direct 4-person crew to safely complete projects.
- Complete legible bore logs and field sketches.
- Select and implement appropriate maintenance of traffic signage and follow safety precautions.
- Identify potential safety hazards. Create a corrective action plan when safety hazards are recognized.
- Administer monthly safety meetings.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Understand as-built drawings and roadway plans
- Possess leadership and mentoring skills.
- Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance tasks.
- Must have a mechanical aptitude.
- Experience placing underground cable a plus.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and/or Skills Required:
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience
- Highschool Diploma/GED
Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to maintain required certifications.
