What You'll Do
As an Accounting Intern, you'll assist the accounting team with a variety of administrative and accounting functions, including:
- Assist with processing accounts payable invoices and supporting documentation.
- Help organize and maintain electronic accounting records.
- Support the collection and tracking of lien waivers and other compliance documentation.
- Assist with employee expense report processing.
- Help reconcile vendor statements and identify discrepancies.
- Support vendor setup by gathering required documentation, including W-9 forms.
- Assist with credit card reconciliations and coding transactions.
- Communicate with vendors and internal team members regarding invoice or payment questions.
- Learn and utilize accounting software, including Vista.
- Perform general administrative and accounting support as assigned.

- Currently pursuing an Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Positive attitude with a desire to contribute and grow.
