Purpose: Responsible for the field maintenance and repair of company-owned or leased construction equipment and vehicles.

- At least 4 years of relevant mechanical or equipment repair experience, including work on tools, small engines, trucks, earth moving equipment, cranes, paving equipment, mini excavators, directional drills, etc.
- Ability to perform welding and minor fabrication.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across a variety of heavy and light equipment.
- Excellent attendance is a must.
- Valid driver’s license is mandatory (CDL preferred).
- High school diploma or GED required
- This is a union-represented position and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
- Work is performed in shop and construction jobsite environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions and seasonal temperatures.
- May be exposed to noise, dust, and other typical construction site conditions.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, and climb while performing job duties.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Requires the ability to observe work activities, equipment, and jobsite conditions, including close and distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safely navigate active construction sites.
