- Perform construction layout for municipal, private, and roadway projects
- Conduct topographical and utility surveys
- Operate Trimble robotic, GNSS, and conventional survey equipment
- Collect and manage field data using survey software
- Import and process daily field data for project team use
- Maintain clear, accurate, and professional field notes
- Support field teams with layout verification and troubleshooting
- Work safely in varying site and weather conditions
- Assist with additional duties as needed.
- 3 years of field layout/surveying experience (construction preferred)
- Experience with construction layout in heavy civil, roadway, or utility work
- Ability to read and interpret construction and roadway plans
- Proficiency with Trimble equipment (robotic, GNSS) and data collection software
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or Trimble Business Center required.
- Strong understanding of elevations, offsets, and survey principles
- Solid communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work outdoors in all conditions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
