Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. At least 1 to 2 years of prior medical billing experience is required for this position. Candidates with no prior experience in medical billing should not apply for this position.The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies and ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
- Utilize medical coding systems such as ICD-9 and ICD-10 to assign appropriate codes
- Maintain patient billing records and respond to inquiries
- Collaborate with medical office staff to ensure proper billing procedures
- Handle medical collections when necessary
Requirements
- PRIOR 1 TO 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE OF MEDICAL BILLING
- Proficiency in medical terminology, coding, and billing processes
- Knowledge of DRG systems and medical records management
- Experience with medical collection practices is a plus

Pay: $17.23 - $18.19 per hour
