SAGE DATA EXPERT (Long-Term Temporary)Location: Newport Beach, CA (Onsite Only)Start: ImmediateAbout the RoleOur client is seeking a highly skilled SAGE Data Expert for an immediate, long-term temporary assignment. This role is fully onsite in Newport Beach and is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, manufacturing-driven environments. You will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and organizing data from multiple systems to create clear, actionable reporting for leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesExtract data from SAGE and other internal/homegrown systems—inventory, sales, accounting, WIP, and additional operational feeds.Analyze large data sets and translate findings into readable, management-ready reports.Create dashboards, pivot tables, macros, and other Excel-driven tools to streamline reporting.Organize and standardize data from disparate sources, including raw numbers and unstructured formats.Identify gaps and recommend improvements to data flow, process efficiency, and reporting accuracy.Support leadership with ad hoc analysis and performance insights.Work closely with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, accounting, operations, and inventory.RequirementsExpert-level experience with SAGE (required).Advanced Excel skills (pivots, macros, complex formulas, data modeling).Proven experience extracting and manipulating data from varied systems (including homegrown platforms).Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert raw data into meaningful reporting.Prior experience working within manufacturing environments—inventory, WIP, BOMs, production scheduling, etc.Highly tech-savvy, process-minded, and able to suggest improvements to reporting and data structure.Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.Ability to work onsite daily in Newport Beach.Ideal CandidateSomeone who can walk in, own the data, build structure where there is none, and help leadership make decisions with clarity and confidence.Company DescriptionKCG is a recruiting firm specializing in direct hire and contract roles within multiple industries and specialities.
