Role Description The Drug Test Collector & BAT role is a full- or part-time, on-site position based in Arvada, CO. We are also looking for after-hours collectors/BATs in the contractor role. This role involves performing drug and alcohol specimen collections in accordance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines, including DOT and non-DOT protocols where applicable. Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying donor identity, explaining collection procedures, maintaining chain-of-custody documentation, and ensuring proper handling, labeling, and storage of specimens. The role also includes conducting Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT), operating related equipment, and accurately recording test results. The individual will interact with clients and donors in a professional manner, support scheduling and appointment coordination, maintain a clean and safe collection environment, and follow all confidentiality and quality assurance procedures.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in specimen collection procedures, chain-of-custody documentation, and adherence to regulatory and company protocols.
• Candidates should possess skills in operating breath alcohol testing devices, accurately recording results, and troubleshooting basic equipment issues.
• Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, maintain professionalism, and support donors respectfully throughout the testing process.
• Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, such as accurate recordkeeping, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple appointments and tasks efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in drug and alcohol testing or healthcare support is beneficial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, follow safety procedures, and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Willingness to complete any required certifications or training for drug test collection and BAT; familiarity with DOT regulations is a plus.
