Summary:
The Parts Order Entry Clerk performs clerical and physical duties in conjunction with the Metal Forming Supermarket team.
Essential Functions:
- Process appropriate paperwork
- Data collection and organization
- Picking and transporting sheet metal parts
- Helping Production meet material requirements through cart deliveries
- Learning and following standardized work and processes
Qualifications/Skills:
- Prior administrative experience preferred
- Data entry skills
- Strong computer skills are required
- Excellent written and oral communication; including spelling and grammar
- Strong background with use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other associated software
- Strong organizational skills (physical and digital)
- Excellent work ethic and character
- Adaptable and improvement oriented
Safety/Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Requires bending, stooping and standing.
- Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day. (Overtime may extend the time period.)
- Good visual and spatial perception.
- Follow established safety policies including, but not limited to, mobile equipment, PPE, emergency response, HAZCOM, first-aid response, etc.
