As an Analyst on the Pharma Mass Spec Bioanalysis team, you get to further our mission by working under Sr. Scientists to contribute to the success of our clients. The Pharma Mass Spec lab team uses their knowledge in GLP and GCP methods to support clients’ regulatory submissions for drug discovery, preclinical, and clinical studies, including bioanalysis of drugs and metabolites, biomarkers, and active endogenous compounds in biological fluids and tissues.

 

As a new or recent graduate early in your scientific career, you will work to identify critical experiments, deliver results, and learn first-hand about Pharma Mass Spec Bioanalysis.

In this role, we will rely on you to:
  • Process, prepare, analyze, and verify samples, laboratory solutions, reagents, method development, and reports.
  • Prepare study records and data summaries for senior scientists to aid in client updates and for archiving.
  • Independently create basic experiment plans and set up instrument configurations.


To qualify specifically for this role, you will have:
  • BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other life science field.
  • Some exposure to, or prior experience with GLP documentation, pipetting (air displacement and or/positive displacement, volumetric, etc), and extraction (such as protein precipitation, solid phase, or liquid/liquid).
  • Basic ability to use (or to learn) balances, pH meter, centrifuge, and a volumetric flask.
  • Coachable and curious, with strong desire to learn and grow in Pharma LC-MS/MS.
  • Detail-oriented and commitment to quality, safety, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Ability to prioritize while working across multiple projects.
