Administrative Support Specialist | Tampa, FL
This position will handle client-facing duties as well as general office tasks. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is friendly, professional in appearance, has a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Reception is under the direct supervision of an office manager, or senior administrative personnel.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients, visitors and vendors upon arrival and connecting them with the appropriate party.
- Answering phones in a timely manner and direct/screen calls to correct staff.
- Maintaining security by following procedures.
- Organizing & distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Responsible for assisting technical and administrative personnel in preparation, data entry.
- Performs administrative duties for other office personnel or departments.
- May be responsible for or assist with the coordination of corporate vehicle reservations and scheduling regarding work assignments of employees.
- Performs other such duties that the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
- Presence at the designated office or job site is necessary to fulfill the requirements of this position.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience.
- Proficiency with computer, word processing software, and organizational skills.
- Experience answering phones & customer service.
- High School or Equivalent.
