Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch Manager role based in Kansas City, KS. The Branch Manager will oversee daily branch operations, including supervising staff, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The role includes leading and coaching team members to deliver excellent member service, resolve complex account issues, and promote credit union products and services. The Branch Manager will monitor branch performance, analyze financial and operational reports, and implement strategies to meet growth, lending, and service goals. This position will also engage with the local community, support financial education initiatives, and foster a member-focused, inclusive culture within the branch.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including staff coaching, performance management, and team development.
- Strong member service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to handle escalated concerns and complex account situations.
- Experience in branch operations, cash handling oversight, and adherence to banking or credit union policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of consumer lending, deposit products, and basic financial analysis to support branch growth and member financial needs.
- Solid communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in a financial institution setting.
- Proficiency with standard office software and banking systems; comfort learning new technologies and tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail banking, credit union operations, or financial services, including supervisory experience, strongly preferred.

Salary : $56,000 - $65,000
