Duties
- Develop, update, and monitor project schedules.
- Coordinate procurement, subcontractor activities, and material deliveries while managing project budgets and cost controls.
- Enforce OSHA and federal construction safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.
- Oversee quality control processes, ensuring work meets design specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
- Manage project documentation.
- Supervise subcontractors and internal teams by managing performance, resolving conflicts, and fostering collaboration across sites.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction site management in commercial or heavy civil projects.
- Proficiency in construction scheduling tools.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, federal construction safety regulations, and industry best practices for safety management.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and using tools like ohmmeters for electrical inspections.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards within budget constraints.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment; adept at crew management and supervision.
- Effective managerial communication skills to coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams seamlessly.
- Ability to review contracts thoroughly; experience with construction estimating and project budgeting is preferred.
