Job Overview
KC Plumbing & Rooter is seeking a motivated and dependable Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be on the front lines of our operation — traveling to job sites, diagnosing underground plumbing issues, and delivering professional solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Day-to-day work includes drain and sewer cleaning, camera inspections, pipe repairs, and operating trenchless lining equipment. This is a hands-on, physical role that requires working outdoors in varying conditions, but offers steady work, competitive pay, and a team that invests in your growth. No two days are the same, and we provide full training for candidates who bring the right attitude and work ethic.
What You'll Do
- Perform sewer camera inspections and pipe locating
- Clean and clear drains and sewer lines, including cast iron descaling
- Operate CIPP (trenchless) liner equipment
- Perform spot repairs, sewer/water line replacements, and hand digging
- Use hand tools and field equipment safely and efficiently
- Communicate professionally with customers on-site
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
- Good communication skills with customers
- Experience in plumbing, construction, or drain cleaning is a plus — but we will train the right person
Compensation & Benefits
- $19–$25/hr depending on experience
- Health insurance starting Day 1
