Child and Family Therapist/Clinical Social Worker – KC PCIT
KC PCIT is seeking a full-time Clinical Social Worker to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and families. This position includes training and ongoing clinical consultation within a collaborative, supportive practice focused on best practices in child and family mental health. Training for Parent-Child Interaction Therapy will be offered as part of this position.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and families in an office setting and occasional tele-health
- Meet required training standards for the treatment of anxiety, ADHD, depression, and family-related concerns
- Engage in ongoing personal and professional development through reading, research, workshops, seminars, weekly team clinical consultation and other learning opportunities
- Collaborate with community professionals (schools, pediatricians, etc) to support coordinated, comprehensive care for clients
- Build and maintain active caseload
- Complete precise, timely, and ethical clinical documentation
- Collaborate and coordinate care with KC PCIT colleagues
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work with three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience preferred
- Kansas Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) or working towards licensure
- Missouri Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required or working towards licensure
- Strong commitment to evidence-based treatment approaches
- Knowledge of counseling and therapy models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- Demonstrated desire for professional growth and continued learning
- Ability to function effectively and independently in a busy clinical environment
Compensation
- KC PCIT employees are W-2
- KC PCIT bills $150 for a 45-minute session
- Compensation is based on a percentage of the billable rate
