Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Controller role based in Crystal Lake, IL. The Controller will oversee the financial operations of the company, including managing budgets, financial reporting, and compliance. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data for decision-making, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and supervising the accounting team. The role will also involve streamlining accounting processes and participating in strategic financial planning to support the company’s goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including regulatory compliance and audit preparation
• Experience with accounting software and tools; expertise in Excel and ERP systems is preferred
• Organizational and leadership skills to efficiently manage and mentor an accounting team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a strong advantage
• Proven work experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or a similar relevant role
