Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling with precision.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring adherence to alcohol service laws and policies.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at bars or during catering events like banquets or private parties.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple tables or bar stations seamlessly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during nightclubs, catering events, or restaurant service.
- Keep track of inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management proactively.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub, restaurant, or fine dining establishment.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Experience serving in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math, and drink measurements.
- Previous retail math experience related to sales and inventory management is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of brewing processes or hospitality industry standards enhances your suitability for this role.
