Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance with beauty and cosmetic products
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and sales data entry
• Upsell products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable items to enhance their beauty routines
• Maintain accurate stock levels through stocking, merchandising, and inventory management
• Demonstrate product demos such as makeup application techniques to educate customers and boost sales
• Manage client relationships by building rapport, following up on inquiries, and fostering loyalty
• Utilize salon software like Millennium or similar systems for client records and appointment scheduling when applicable
• Engage in social media management to promote new products or store events, increasing community engagement

Qualifications

Must have previous experience as a cashier at beauty supply store

• Previous experience with retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred but not required
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Millennium or similar software is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clients
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and sales data analysis
• Passion for beauty & cosmetics with an understanding of current trends and products
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform makeup application demonstrations and product demos confidently
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts
• Multilingual capabilities are advantageous for connecting with a broader customer base
