Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods (Mission tortillas & Little Debbie snacks)to grocery stores while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Driver is responsible for ordering product, Separating product, and delivering and putting product on shelves. These are early work hours typically starting around 4 and finish when the work is done. Hours aren’t set schedule, once the work is done your done. Can be flexible if planned accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
- Assist in warehouse duties when not on the road, including inventory management and organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics operations.
- Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation skills to optimize delivery efficiency.
