Who are we hiring?

The KCCII Team Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering world-class soccer experiences within the Kansas City Current ecosystem. This position is responsible for managing logistics and operations for the second team of Kansas City Current, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency. This role requires extreme organization, logistics management, and forward planning.

What will you do?

• Manage day-to-day operations for KC Current II; work with technical staff to coordinate training, meals, and meetings.
• Organize off-field experiences for KCCII players: housing, transportation, travel to market, education and player appearances.
• Coordinate and manage all elements of travel for KCCII: flights, transportation, hotels, training venues, etc.
• Act as a direct source of communication with players on all day-to-day operational and logistical matters.
• Interface with the Head of Operations on team environment requirements and team objectives.
• Work cross-functionally with internal departments (venue operations, public relations, security, etc.) and external partners to execute successful processes, projects, and events.
• Coordinate all competition logistics, including but not limited to registrations, travel, staffing.
• Assist with the coordination of travel and game day logistics for visiting teams.
• Compile and submit expenses, invoices, and reimbursements as necessary.
• Anticipate and solve logistical challenges in real-time with professionalism and efficiency.

What do you need to succeed?

Required

• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
• Interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Experience in logistics or team services within sports, preferably soccer.
• A passion for delivering high-level team and fan experiences in a dynamic environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Willingness to travel out of state/country for consecutive days.
  
  

Preferred

• Ability to monitor company communications and respond to time-sensitive matters with senior executives.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate venues for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed for event setup, equipment management, or assisting with operational needs.
• Requires occasional bending, squatting, and reaching overhead to handle various tasks related to facility management, equipment, and event preparation.
• Ability to work outdoors continuously for extended periods of time in all weather conditions.
