What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at KC Associates?
We are a successful and reputable floor covering business seeking a Sales Consultant for our Rockledge, FL store. We have successfully been in business for more than 50 years and continue to be listed in the Top 50 retailers in the country. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling products and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and identify customer needs
- Explain products and services to customers
- Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
- Enter and process customer orders using company software tools (RFMS)
- Investigate and resolve any customer concerns
- Complete on site measurements for customer quotes
- Present carpet, hardwood, laminate, LVT, natural stone or ceramic tile products
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in flooring sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Able to read blue prints and/or floor plans
- Good computer skills (RFMS Measure and Microsoft software)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Valid Florida Driver's License/ Must have clean driving record
