We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to observe activity within the premises
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify and address potential security issues
- Control access points by verifying credentials and maintaining logs of visitors and staff
- Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activities, including providing first aid or CPR if necessary
- Enforce rules and regulations to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry (loss prevention)
- Document incidents accurately in reports and communicate effectively with law enforcement or emergency services when required
- Manage conflict situations calmly and professionally to de-escalate potential threats
- Maintain a visible presence to deter misconduct and ensure a safe environment for all occupants
Qualifications
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, security, or related fields is preferred
- Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, or Conflict Management are highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is advantageous
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to pass background checks and any necessary licensing requirements for security personnel
