Payroll Specialist / Payroll Manager

KBW Financial Staffing is working with a rapidly growing PE backed client in the Portsmouth RI area that is looking for a Payroll Specialist (title may vary) to join their team! This is a full-time position that will pay between $80k-$100k depending on experience, plus bonus.

The Responsibilities For This Role Will Include

• Processing weekly payroll, including wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and other earnings
• Ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, tax reporting, and year-end activities
• Preparing payroll reports, reconciliations, audits, and support accurate payroll accounting
• Partnering with HR and Finance on employee changes, payroll inquiries, and process improvements
  
  

The Experience Required For This Role

• 3 years of payroll processing experience, including multi-state payroll and payroll/HRIS systems such as Paylocity
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll tax requirements
• Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and ability to manage deadlines and confidential information
  
  

Compensation: $80k-$100k (DOE) Bonus
